Carolina Day School, a co-educational, PK-12 day school, seeks applicants for coaching for part-time (stipend only, no benefits) for the 2024-25 school year. Stipends range anywhere between $1,000-$5,000 for the season depending on the level of the team, years of coaching experience, length of the season, and the job title. Positions available are listed below:

Coaching responsibilities involve promoting and creating a positive team culture, developing fundamentals and skills of the game, organizing and enthusiastically running practices, and implementing effective game strategies. It is expected coaches will maintain a high standard of integrity in all aspects of team management, foster an environment which promotes the mission and values of Carolina Day School, and supports the academic and athletic experience of the student. A thoughtful approach and a desire to constantly improve and innovative thinking will be essential to the success of this role.
The primary responsibility of the Human Resources and Finance Coordinator will be the daily management of the human resources function, supporting the finance functions, and managing the payroll entry process for the school. This role supports the business office in multiple areas, and will cross train with other members of the department.

A substitute teacher is a professional educator who is responsible for operating a safe, orderly, and positive classroom environment while the regular teacher is absent. The role of a lower school instructional assistant varies based on the particular grade-level assignment. This specific role will serve in the Kindergarten classrooms. In general, instructional assistants work extremely closely with their lead teacher partner to create an engaging, loving, organized, safe, creative, and exceptional classroom for students.
